The Client and overview of the opportunity:
My Client are a Munster-based, €125m+ turnover Main Contractor.
They have a good name in the market and over 60 years of continuous trading.
They have just won a c.€40 M contract to renovate heritage building which is currently a high-end, 5* Hotel in Co.
Clare.
This is a landmark building and will be one you'll be proud to have worked on for years to come
The project will include extensive internal improvements, cut & carve extension and some external works too.
We are searching for an experienced Site Manager/Senior Site Manager/Project Manager to report to the Contracts Director.
You will be the most senior person on-site and will manage internal and external relationships.
This project was awarded last week and we're looking to start work in the next month or so.
My Client are happy to wait for the right people.
Project will include:
Heritage works - Traditional skills
Groundworks & Extension
Internal cut & carve
M&E installation
Fire safety
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with Client and Company Directors to ensure smooth-running project which makes money for the Company.
Manage on-site Construction Activities, ensuring Project Milestones are met.
Supervise and co‑ordinate Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Trades.
Manage EHS as per Company and Industry standards.
Ensure Quality Control and adherence to Project Specifications.
Manage site records, progress reports, and day-to-day problem‑solving.
Monitor project costs and ensure resources are used efficiently.
Requirements:
Degree qualified in Construction Management or having a trade background + previous Site Management experience.
5+ years of Construction experience as a Site Manager/Foreman.
Strong knowledge of Construction Practices, Regulations, and Safety Standards.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project schedules.
