Healthirl Migrations – IT EngineerWithin the OoCIO there is a requirement to augment the current resource pool with a suitably skilled Support Technician who will primarily work as part of the Healthirl Migrations Team to migrate users, devices & mailboxes from the 8 legacy domains to the one single national Healthirl domain.Responsibilities may include, but are not restricted to:Geographical based to provide onsite support in specific site or multiple sites i.e. mobileLiaising with the Relationship Managers to receive weekly migration schedule, arriving on-site to perform the migrations, managing any issues through to resolution & ensuring a good customer service experienceEscalate issues (Application, Hardware) where necessary to the POD Lead and/or Technical ManagerPrioritise, manage and responding to Service Desk calls in a timely manner logged on the service desk system; including travel to sites to support users within our geographical regionEstablish and build on good working relationship with customers & end-usersSystem administration using Active DirectorySystem administration – amend privileges/security permissions on server shares, setup of new shared folders on existing sharesSet up / amend Windows accounts/mailboxes, Microsoft exchange & Microsoft serversAccess and update email branding site for new and staff moversLiaise with third party vendors for software \ hardware installationsTroubleshoot and if required, referral of hardware faults to third partiesTroubleshoot system problems, diagnose and solve software faults e.g. CitrixInstall and configure computer hardware and peripherals, operating systems and applicationsBe aware of & contribute to the Healthirl Migrations Knowledge BaseComplete post-migration form for central teamDeal with ‘how to’ and information requests including data security and ICT policiesLiaison with local and national ICT teams, e.g. Server and Network managementEngagement with service providers (managed print, applications, etc) to co-ordinate migration activitiesSite assessments for migrationsUndertake necessary training appropriate to the roleOtherCoordinateoffice activities to secure efficiency and compliance to procedures and processesCreate and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other dataSubmit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assignedAssist and interact with colleagues & project teams as requestedFull clean Irish Driving LicenceExperience:Must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working in an IT Support environmentMust demonstrate experience of having an excellent working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite and report writing. Demonstrate good problem solving, analytical and decision making skillsDemonstrate evidence of production of quality deliverablesDemonstrate understanding of Irish Healthcare systemBusiness Competencies:Excellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to organise work with an organized mannerSelf-starter with a willingness to take responsibilityThe ability to interact with key stakeholders in a professional mannerEducation:Third Level Education Qualification is preferableProfessional certificates such as Comptia, Microsoft, Cisco is preferable
