St. John Solicitors are hiring for Solicitors in their expanding Healthcare & Capacity Team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic and progressive law firm, working within a collegial team that delivers high-quality legal services to the state's largest employer.
The Role
The successful candidates will manage complex cases involving constitutional rights, often representing clients in High Court applications. They will work both independently and under the supervision of a Partner in the Healthcare team. The roles involve close collaboration with key medical personnel, taking instructions and providing legal advice on court applications that frequently involve vulnerable service users.
A solid understanding of healthcare law or a keen interest in this field, supported by relevant transferable skills, is essential. St. John Solicitors are passionate about delivering exceptional legal services and cultivating strong client relationships and this is a key consideration.
Key requirements
The ideal candidate should possess some or all of the following attributes:
- 1+ years or more post qualification experience
- Experience in healthcare advisory work and courtroom advocacy (preferred)
- Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to delivering outstanding client service
