Medforce are delighted to be recruiting a Head of Psychology for a leadingvoluntary organisation and national charity working with children and adults with disabilities. The Head of Psychology will lead the delivery of high-quality psychological services to children and adults with complex disabilities, including through our clients Childrens Disability Network Teams (CDNTs) and enhanced care pathways. This leadership role will guide service transformation, with a strong focus on autism and neurodiversity, aligning services with our clients strategic vision. This position reports to theHead of National Specialist Services, Research and Education Key Stakeholders: Multidisciplinary teams and Heads of Discipline Parents, carers, and advocates HSE, Tusla, and other agencies CDNT managers and senior leadership Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic and Clinical Leadership Drive service expansion beyond physical disability Lead service development in autism and neurodiversity Ensure high standards of assessment, intervention, consultation, and support Embed evidence-based practices and supervise clinical teams 2. Stakeholder Engagement Build partnerships with families, communities, and external agencies Represent our client in national forums and promote service user feedback 3. Research and Innovation Promote and lead research initiatives Collaborate with academic institutions to enhance practice 4. Education and Knowledge Sharing Lead internal and external education programmes Oversee training and supervision of trainee psychologists 5.
