Our client, a leading professional services organisation, is seeking an Associate Director / Manager – Insurance Risk & Actuarial to join its growing insurance advisory team in Dublin.This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of the firm’s non-life insurance advisory practice, working with both domestic and international clients on a wide range of actuarial and risk projects.The RoleWork on a variety of actuarial and risk consulting engagements across the non-life insurance sectorSupport projects such as actuarial peer reviews, pricing analysis and regulatory advisory workContribute to climate risk, emerging risk and market research initiativesParticipate in international projects and cross-border advisory engagementsProvide actuarial support on secondments or project-based assignments with insurance clientsKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver actuarial and risk consulting services across a range of client engagementsLead project workstreams including planning, budgeting and delivery oversightProvide technical input across areas such as reserving, pricing, Solvency II, ORSA and risk managementCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams across different practice areas and jurisdictionsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and key industry stakeholdersCandidate RequirementsExperience in one or more of the following areas: Reserving, Pricing, Solvency II, ORSA or Insurance Risk ManagementKnowledge of the insurance regulatory and legal frameworkExperience working with actuarial or regulatory frameworks such as IFRS 17, Solvency II, EBS, BSCR or US GAAP (desirable)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply technical knowledge in practical situationsA commercial mindset with the ability to challenge ideas constructively and contribute in a consulting environmentInterested?Candidates interested in this opportunity with up to 2 years PQE should contact Kate Henebry kate.henebry@raretec.ieCandidates with more than 2 years PQE can contact Grace Caraher grace.caraher@raretec.ieAlternatively, you can contact the Raretec team on: (01) 531 1400
