Payroll & HR Administrator Department: Human Resources Reports To: HR Manager / Finance Director Employment Type: Full-Time 9am to 5pm, Hybrid Monday to Wednesday office based/Thursday and Friday remote Were looking for a motivated, and forward-thinking Payroll Specialist & HR Administrator to join our team.
This is a key hybrid role youll ensure payroll runs smoothly while helping shape and support the HR experience for employees What Youll Be Doing Payroll Management Manage end-to-end monthly payroll for ~100 ROI employees and 55 UK employees.
Lead the transition from outsourced to in-house payroll processing.
Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations, including tax, pensions, and deductions.
Reconcile payroll accounts and collaborate with the finance team.
Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Oversee inputs like basic hours, overtime, holiday pay, and sales commission tracking.
Manage ROS payroll returns, bank reconciliations, and financial postings.
?? HR Administration Support Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS.
Support the recruitment process: job postings, interview scheduling, onboarding tasks.
Draft and issue offer letters, contracts, and ensure employee system setup.
Assist with benefits administration, leave tracking, and absence management.
Support with performance reviews and training coordination.
Contribute to audits, policy compliance, and HR reporting.
Work alongside a supportive HR/Legal team to ensure best practices.
What Youll Bring 25 years of payroll experience with proven end-to-end processing expertise.
Strong working knowledge of payroll systems (ROI and UK experience a plus).
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
A proactive attitude with an interest in developing HR skills (previous HR experience not essential).
Confident communicator with solid interpersonal abilities.
