This business delivers complex groundworks packages across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects and has built a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and long-term client relationships. The role: As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for multiple groundworks projects from pre-contract through to final account. You'll work closely with Contracts Managers, site teams, and directors to ensure projects are delivered profitably and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Full commercial management of groundworks projects Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and cost reports Valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts Managing subcontractor procurement, payments, and variations Identifying and managing commercial risk and opportunity Supporting junior commercial staff where required Building and maintaining strong client relationships About You Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within groundworks or civil engineering Strong understanding of groundworks packages (earthworks, drainage, foundations, external works, etc.) Excellent commercial and contractual knowledge Confident communicator, able to work autonomously and as part of a team Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) What's on Offer Competitive salary depending on experience Car allowance / company vehicle Pension and benefits package Long-term career progression with a growing contractor Interviews have already commenced, so do not hesitate to apply.
