The Role
We are looking for a dynamic Store Manager in our very busy Dundrum Store. As Store Manager, you will represent the best of the company, establish a consistent, efficient, and high performing store, and maintain the high standards required within an Apple Premium Partner store.
Responsibilities
Positively influence at all levels in the organisation and demonstrate credibility and maturity in the role.
Communicate and reinforce the retail strategy across store management.
Develop and drive store revenue to achieve and/or exceed budget, managing associated costs in line with budget parameters.
Provide encouragement and leadership to achieve revenue budgets and cost controls.
Coach and develop the store management team.
Deliver an engaging customer experience for sales and service.
Provide constructive feedback to Retail Sales Manager IRL on areas of development.
Liaise and provide feedback to the marketing team and Retail Sales Manager IRL.
Shape future retail and/or service strategy, providing relevant feedback.
Lead innovation first‑to‑market concepts in the store.
Ensure weekly store schedules for customer engagement to build brand loyalty.
Be the first point of customer escalation within the store.
Liaise with the management company to ensure landlord requirements and maintain working relationship.
General management for all store‑related maintenance to ensure legal compliance and Apple audit readiness.
Act as cover in the absence of the Retail Sales Manager IRL.
Hold or actively participate in weekly managers’ conference calls when Retail Sales Manager IRL absent.
Carry out requests/tasks from Retail Sales Manager IRL.
Assist retail operations on store merchandising and Apple store audits.
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of best practice, retail theatre, and effective strategies in retail.
Effective communication and working relationships with all touch points.
Strong organisational and management skills with attention to detail.
Ability to spot and read retail trends and utilise data available.
Natural leadership with ability to coach and inspire.
Patience and ability to work under pressure and time restraints.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years retail management experience.
Preferred: Knowledge of 'Consumer Protection Act 2007'.
Competent negotiation skills.
Understanding of the Service proposition within the business offering.
Desirable but not essential to hold current or undertake ACiT/ACMT/ACSP certifications.
