Our clients are seeking an experienced Site Manager for Cork. Salary: €45k - €50k DOE plus bonusThis established retail group is known all across the country for offering expectional fuel, retail and food offerings to their new and repeat customers. This experienced and sales driven Retail Manager is to ensure delivery of targets for all departments within the busy site, in terms of sales & profitability. This is through the effective management of all store operations, personnel, merchandising, local store marketing, and cost management.Responsibilities:Ensure operation runs efficiently and smoothlyThe recruitment, training, and development of high-quality personnel for all departments within the storeOverseeing rostering and general management of personnel to ensure adequate cover with in budgetary provisions, whilst maintaining quality service to our customers in all areas of the store and across all offerings/brandsManaging the overall performance of the site, and driving operations to ensure this store is maximisedGenerating financial reports, analysing same and reporting any discrepancies to relevant department/Managing DirectorEnsure overheads are controlled and minimised where appropriateTake full care of Health & Safety of all personnel and customers in store and ensure any risks are minimised, or where possible, eliminatedEnsure Forecourt Health & Safety procedures are in place and operational at all timesRequirements:Come from a large forecourt or convenience backgroundExcellent operational knowledge of retail environmentProven track record in achieving agreed targetsWorking knowledge of Labour Law, Health & Safety regulations, HACCP, and Consumer LawAn excellent commercial acumen with the ability to anticipate and react to market changesIf you are interested in this job, please apply directly via the link below.
