Kerry)Contract Type: Contract - 12 MonthsSalary: Competitive, depending on experience About the RoleWe are looking for a highly experienced Site Manager / Civil Engineer to take a leading role in the successful delivery of our solar renewables projects. Working under a multi-contract model, you will oversee all on-site activities during enabling works, main construction, and commissioning. You will also act as the primary liaison between the site and our project team, ensuring strong compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise all on-site works carried out by our contractors for solar renewable projects.Administer FIDIC-based contracts on-site, fulfilling delegated Engineer responsibilities.Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Act as the primary point of contact for the project team on-site.Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to enable smooth project delivery.Conduct quality assurance reviews and audits of civil works.Effectively resolve any on-site issues or conflicts.Maintain accurate, detailed records including daily logs, incident reports, and inspection reports.Support assessment and resolution of Contractor claims and commercial risks. Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceEssential:10+ years’ civil engineering experience, with a strong background in site management for energy infrastructure projects.Expert knowledge of FIDIC Contracts and their administration.Proven success in engaging with key stakeholders, internal teams, and external authorities.Strong commercial awareness with a solution-focused attitude.Proven ability to identify, communicate, and manage project-critical risks.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; highly self-motivated and collaborative.Excellent written communication skills, with strong report-writing capability.Full clean driver’s license and access to a car.
