In the role of Sales Representative for Industrial Wood coatings across Northern Ireland, and Co. Donegal, Cavan, Monaghan you will be primarily responsible for the development of sales plans, activities and manage the day-to-day activities to implement the organization’s overall sales strategy.
In this role you will be accountable for...
* Ensure that pricing is appropriate, accurate and up to date.
* Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization.
* Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and strategies for the area of responsibility.
* Search for and create new business opportunities in accordance with business needs, potential and capacity.
* Work closely with technical team for trials and trouble shooting.
* Report promptly competitor activity, market trends, price surveys and new product development in the marketplace monthly.
The skills and experience you will ideally have...
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant Science subject, or Diploma in Paint Technology.
* Minimum 5 years’ sales experience
* Preferred: Experience from coatings industry, Knowledge of industrial application equipment, knowledge of kitchen cabinet and exterior joinery sectors
* Dynamic and results oriented.
