As a Senior Technical Analyst, you will be working with Payment Integrity Data Mining team.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development and deployment of advanced analytics designed to detect claim overpayments across various platforms and lines of business.
This will play a crucial role in enabling recovery and cost avoidance, significantly contributing to our overall organizational efficiency and success.
Primary Responsibilities of the Senior Technical Analyst:
Lead large, complex projects to achieve key business objectivesTranslate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiencesEngage with clients to clearly define business requirementsInterface professionally with databases, ETL, modeling and development teamsPerform complex data analysis to support research requests by the clientCreate technical specifications, unit test plans, dataflow diagrams and logical data modelsFollow quality assurance guidelines including the documentation, review and approval of all project related artifactsCoordinate with development teams, operations teams and management to enhance operational metric reportingTroubleshoot client and operational issues quickly and comprehensivelyLead operational processesSupport, train and mentor fellow analysts and developersWork with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasksIntroduce AI-powered tools and agentic systems to scale analytics and enhance decision support across business units.Function well within a matrix organization (E.g.

Required Qualifications of the Senior Technical Analyst:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceProven previous experience writing SQL queries/scriptsPrevious experience of structured and unstructured database experienceProven previous Analytic testing experiencePrevious IT technical writing experienceAdvanced Excel skillsProven previous healthcare claims experiencePreferred Qualifications of the Senior Technical Analyst:
Audit Recovery, Coordination of Benefits (COB), or Fraud experienceHealthcare data analytics experience (Financial and Metrics based reporting)Knowledge of cloud-based data warehousing environmentsExperience with Python for data analysisKnowledge of AI frameworks
