We are currently recruiting an MRO Technician to be on our client site in Grange Castle.
This role involves reporting to the MRO Lead, providing engineering support to the operation of the MRO stores in Grange Castle. This role supports the entire site from a spare parts support perspective. The function of the MRO stores is to manage the spare parts inventory in order to support planned and unplanned spare part requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Creating new parts on CMMS
* Stock ordering for replenishment stock and new parts.
* Open order management and escalation of critical orders.
* Receipting of deliveries and invoicing approval.
* Issuing & returning parts into MRO from internal customers.
* Management of spare parts repair program and subsequent reporting.
* Compiling and presentation of regular KPI's to support MRO operations.
* Management of stock outs in order to minimise risk and identify root cause.
* Kitting of parts for planned activities.
* Cycle counting parts within MRO.
* ABC analysis of inventory.
* Space management of MRO footprint and additional storage locations.
* Maintain audit ready status in the area.
* Knowledge transfer and training of new team members.
* Execution of continuous improvement projects within the area
Experience:
* At least 3 years operation in an engineering stores/warehouse team environment.
* Ability to operate in a dynamic environment is essential.
* Good customer service manner is essential.
* Strong communication and organizational skills are necessary.
* Strong data analytics skills in Microsoft 365 applications / SharePoint are necessary
* Strong report writing skills are necessary.
* Project management experience would be advantageous.
* Walkie Stacker / Fork Lift licence advantageous.
* GMP experience advantageous
Qualifications:
* Third level/ trade qualification to technician level is desirable.
* Third level qualification in inventory management or supply chain management is desirable.
* APICS or IIPMM certification would be advantageous.
