We're seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic and innovative consultancy team in Galway.

About the Role You'll join a talented team of engineers delivering high-quality mechanical building services designs for a range of sectors.
You will be involved in the full project lifecycle, from concept through detailed design and project delivery, using the latest digital tools and sustainable design principles.
Key Responsibilities Design and specification of mechanical building services including HVAC, heating, water services, natural gas, and above-ground drainage systems.
Deliver detailed designs and documentation through to project completion.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams using BIM workflows.
Ensure designs comply with relevant CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS, and EN standards.
Conduct site visits and liaise with clients and contractors.
Support innovation and efficiency across design processes.
Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of building services design experience in a consultancy environment.
Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Microsoft Office applications.
Understanding of mechanical systems design tools such as IES.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and sustainability principles.
Excellent communication, presentation, and project coordination skills.
BIM experience is an advantage, as is experience in commercial or mixed-use projects.
