Job Title: Site Construction Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supporting setting-out engineers while carrying out precise surveying work. This will involve monitoring quality control and ensuring compliance with project specifications and design requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and support setting-out engineers while carrying out precise surveying work.
2. Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications and design requirements.
3. Coordinate with site management, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
4. Plan and schedule works effectively (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly lookahead).
5. Manage labour, materials, and resources efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
6. Prepare and review technical submittals, site documentation, and QA records.
7. Attend site progress and health & safety meetings.
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years on-site experience in civil engineering, groundworks, or building construction.
* Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
* Strong technical, planning, and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
* Full, clean driving licence.
* Eligible to work in Ireland.
