The Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, person-centred care to adults in need of support.
Our clinic is a collaborative environment where professionals from various healthcare and social care backgrounds work together seamlessly.
* Possess a diploma or degree in occupational therapy from a recognized institution
* Be registered as an Occupational Therapist with a relevant governing body
* Have at least 3 years of satisfactory post-qualification experience, preferably in the disability sector
* Demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals with intellectual disability and autism
* Exhibit flexibility in responding to changing needs and situations
Requirements
A key requirement for this role is a person-centred approach to providing supports, encompassing an understanding of individual needs and abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including good listening skills, are essential. Previous experience working in an intellectual disability service is highly desirable.
