The Diamond Coast is looking for a Food & Beverage / Operations Manager to join the Team
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead the floor, mentor the team, and drive standards and profitability across bar, restaurant, weddings, and events.

About The Role
The Role
We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to play a leading role in delivering outstanding service across all our outlets.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead the floor, mentor the team, and drive standards and profitability across bar, restaurant, weddings, and events.
This is a senior leadership role— ideal for an ambitious hospitality professional ready to step up and make their mark
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
* To be "hands on" and lead by example in service delivery and be operationally focused
* Lead, motivate and inspire great customer service
* Mentor and support the other Managers, supervisors, and Front of House team
* Lead from the floor during busy service, weddings, and events
* Run daily briefings, ensure strong communication, and foster a respectful, high-performance culture
* Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff development
* To ensure payroll is managed on a weekly basis
* Recruitment and selection of team members
* To ensure all employment legislation is adhered to
Guest Experience
* Oversee service across bar, restaurant. Conference and Banqueting
* Maintain high standards of atmosphere, presentation, and service
* Respond to guest feedback with professionalism and care
Commercial & Operational Performance
* Forecast sales, manage rotas, and control labour costs
* Work with our stock auditors to control beverage and inventory performance
* Support upselling and guest engagement initiatives
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to keep FOH and kitchen aligned
* To ensure payroll is managed on a weekly basis
Systems & Compliance
* Ensure full compliance with HACCP, licensing, and safety standards
* Manage purchasing, stock, cash handling, and supplier systems
* Contribute to weekly and monthly management meetings and long-term planning
* To work with the HR Manager to ensure all HR policies and procedures are implemented and to ensure training and employee engagement initiatives are carried out throughout the property.
Who You Are
* A confident leader with 3+ years in a senior F&B or hospitality management role
* Skilled in leading, motivating, and developing teams
* Calm under pressure with excellent floor presence
* Knowledgeable in restaurant, bar, and event service standards
* Strong with budgets, rotas, stock, and supplier systems (experience with Timepoint, Procure Wizard and Guestline an advantage)
* Flexible to work evenings and weekends on a five-day roster
