Maintenance Operative – South East Region
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Operative to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance and repair work across our property portfolio in the South East region.
This is a hands-on role that requires practical experience, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining our properties to a high standard and ensuring a safe, well-presented environment at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out general property maintenance, including painting, gardening, light carpentry, and repairs.
* Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and complete tasks efficiently.
* Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working order.
* Liaise with management and other team members to plan and prioritise work schedules.
* Ensure all tasks are completed safely and in compliance with company and health & safety standards.
Requirements
* Proven experience in property maintenance, construction, or a similar trade.
* Basic knowledge of building repairs, carpentry, painting, and gardening.
* A full, clean driving licence (essential).
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a "can-do" attitude.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable
* Background or qualification in construction, facilities management, or building trades.
* Experience working across multiple sites or within a mobile maintenance role.

Location
