We at the award winning 4* Annebrook House Hotel are currently recruiting a Sales & Events Co-ordinator to take responsibility for event and wedding enquiries and drive the sales forward from enquiry to confirmation.
The Candidate: We are looking to recruit a highly experienced individual who has an ability to work in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate would have 2 years experience in an events or wedding coordinator role in the hospitality industry.
The successful candidate will:
Act as the primary point of contact for wedding clients, guiding them from the initial consultation to their big day.
Proactively drive wedding and event sales, responding to enquiries, and converting leads into bookings.
Schedule and conduct hotel show-arounds, ensuring meeting rooms are presented to a high standard.
Deal with all guest queries in a promptly manner according to brand standards.
Handle administrative tasks, including inputting information into Rezlynx and Resdiary systems, updating details, and communicating updates to relevant departments.
Assist with all promotional events and sales PR events.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote weddings and events, create engaging social media content, and support campaigns.
Build relationships with local suppliers, partners, and clients to expand the venue’s offerings and reputation.
Develop new sales leads and new sales business.
Promote the hotel at all times.
Required Skills : - Experience of using a booking engine -Excellent Microsoft Office Skills - Be able to work on your own initiative. - Excellent communications skills. - Excellent planning and organizing skills - Be able to cope well under pressure. - Highly motivated. - Ability to work late Evenings and Weekends
