Job SummaryThis role will support the effective operation of the company’s risk management framework by assisting with the development, maintenance, and reporting of key risk management activities. Through strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and effective collaboration across the business, the role plays an important part in embedding a strong risk culture and ensuring timely, accurate risk oversight.Job DutiesSupport with the preparation, review and update of risk management policies, procedures and ORSA reportsAssist with maintenance of the risk register to ensure that all relevant risks and controls are captured and assessed regularlyMonitor performance against risk appetite statements, helping to ensure that remedial action is taken where appetite is breachedAssist with the preparation of risk reports and dashboards for presentation at Risk Management and Board Committee meetingsSupport with the identification and mitigation of key and emerging risksContribute to periodic risk and control reviewsAssist with the completion of regulatory risk and exposure management returnsSupport with the Company’s greenhouse gas emissions reporting obligationsSupport the risk management function on risk related projects and initiativesContribute towards a strong risk culture.Job RequirementsUndergraduate degree in a STEM discipline with a 2.1 or higher2 years financial services experience preferredStrong analytical skills and attention to detailEffective problem solver with excellent numerical abilityAbility to plan work, manage time effectively, and work to tight deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to develop effective working relationships across the businessSelf-motivated, able to work across teams while managing multiple priorities
