Job Title: Director of Digital Transformation
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Director of Digital Transformation to lead our digital strategy and drive innovation in information technology.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive digital transformation strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
* Lead the development and implementation of new technologies and digital solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure optimal return on investment.
* Play a key role in supporting ICT initiatives and strategies across the wider public service.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Significant recent senior management experience, including leading and managing teams in a large and complex organisation.
* Excellent ICT and digital skills, with experience in strategic management of large, complex ICT and digital environments.
* A working knowledge of relevant national and EU legislation, such as GDPR and EU AI Act.
* Ability to build relationships with suppliers and vendors, and use these relationships to benefit from their global knowledge bases.
