As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the business across finance and administration functions, with exposure to a wide range of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage accounting records from initial entry through to trial balance preparation
* Record all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
* Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payments
* Prepare customer invoices and maintain detailed sales records
* Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy
* Prepare VAT returns and analysis to meet regulatory requirements
* Generate aged creditors and debtors reports; provide proactive credit control where necessary
* Process payroll payments and adjustments on a monthly basis
* Support HR record keeping, contract management, and staff administration
* Assist with the renewal of insurance policies and vehicle records (Tax/MOT)
* Liaise with auditors to prepare for audits and respond to any queries
* Prepare management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts as required by senior management
* Maintain accurate filing systems and complete statutory questionnaires (NISRA/HMRC) promptly
