Position: Project Manager (Service & Maintenance)
Location: Kilkenny
Contract Type: Permanent
Work Shift: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
Overview of the role
Due to continued success and growth across the Service and Maintenance division, we are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as a Project Manager.
The candidate will manage the delivery of Service and Maintenance services and projects for Uisce Eireann, industrial customers, and Veolia sites across Ireland, overseeing projects from tender to successful completion while ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget compliance and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
Ensure thorough knowledge and understanding of contracts for all assigned project services.
Coordinate activities and outputs on a variety of projects across industrial, Veolia-operated, and client sites.
Act as the main point of contact for issues relating to the project portfolio.
Work collaboratively within the S&M structure with the client, technical assurance, risk, employer representatives, and operations to deliver project scope.
Provide timely updates to senior management on project progress, cost forecasts, and variations.
Manage and coordinate direct reports including technicians and tendering to ensure project deliverables are met.
Monitor and control the project and adherence to the programme.
Identify risks to project activities and provide notifications to the client to allow preparation of early warnings, claims, variations and cost cap agreements.
Required Skills
5+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in a project engineer role.
Exposure to Service & Maintenance project activities.
Diploma/Degree/Masters level in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
Strong IT skills including MS Project, Concept Evolution, and Google Suite.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Self-motivated.
Strong communication skills.

Non-EU/EEA nationals must possess current, valid permission to work and reside in the Republic of Ireland.
