Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM)

Senior Staff Nurse

The Role
As Clinical Nurse Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day clinical leadership of the nursing team, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to residents while promoting best practice, professional development, and a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate the multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional resident-centred care
* Lead and support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, evidence-based practice
* Liaise closely with medical and allied healthcare professionals
* Report clinical matters appropriately to the Director of Nursing
* Support staff onboarding, orientation, and ongoing development
* Promote excellent standards of written and verbal communication across the team
* Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve nursing practice and care delivery
* Encourage resident independence, wellness, and family involvement
* Embrace change and implement initiatives that enhance clinical excellence
* Ensure mandatory training compliance across the team
* Support nurses involvement in clinical decision-making and care planning
* Supervise nutritional requirements and resident wellbeing
* Ensure safekeeping of residents personal property
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in the elderly care or nursing home sector
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and HIQA Standards
* Evidence of continuous professional development
* Excellent clinical and resident care skills
* Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Computer literacy
* High standard of written and spoken English
