Software Developer for Quality Assurance
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer in Quality Assurance to join our team at the Fraud & Risk Management Research & Development Centre of Excellence in Limerick.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain automated functional and non-functional test suites across multiple components, including APIs, microservices, and web applications and UIs.
* Perform code reviews and other peer review processes to ensure code quality and security practices.
* Triage system issues, including debug, log and document bugs found during testing.
* Research new technologies, including hands-on technical evaluation and POCs.
* Collaborate with software engineers, architects, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a similar SDET role, excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience working with Functional API Testing frameworks, JavaScript Functional UI Testing frameworks, issue-tracking tools, test-case management tools, RESTful APIs, and accessibility best practices is highly desirable.
