Job Title: Crane Service Engineer and Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a qualified Crane Service Engineer and a Maintenance Technician to join our client's team at their state-of-the-art facility in County Down, Ireland.


Crane Service Engineer:

* Reporting to the Service Manager, this role involves carrying out responses to breakdowns, trouble shooting, and repairs within the Crane Division as a field service engineer.
* Responsibilities include LEEA inspections and insurance inspections, mechanical and electrical experience for tasks such as rope and bearing changes, replacing contactors or load cells.
* The ideal candidate will possess a time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a 3rd level qualification, with large crane experience being preferable but not essential.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

* Time-served apprenticeship required in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a 3rd level qualification.
* Large crane experience is preferable, but not essential.
* Good experience with heavy industrial plant and machinery.
* Electrical H&S Happy working at heights Use of MEWPS is preferable.

Benefits:

* Company van, mobile and i Pad work use only Crane Service Engineer role only.
* Travel Expenses paid (from home where necessary, validated online)- Crane Service Engineer role only.
* Monday to Friday role Overtime paid at 1.5 hours (over 40 hours a week).
* The potential to earn £50k+ is very realistic as it is usual to work well over 10 hours a week due to travel Crane Service Engineer role only.


Maintenance Technician:

* This role is responsible for minimising breakdowns by routine PPM.
* As part of an established team, you will be focused on a range of equipment including Kaltenbach Saws, Peddinghaus Drill lines, Ficep Flat Line, and more.
* The ideal candidate will be local in South Down, ideally from Newcastle/ Castlewellan area.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

* Qualified mechanically biased engineer, with some electrical experience and knowledge.
* Experience of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
* A can do attitude and effective team member.
