Responsibilities
* Ensure all bookings, reservation documentation, and filing are completed accurately.
* Manage rates on various booking channels, achieving optimal yield.
* Handle all guest inquiries efficiently and professionally.
* Take reservation calls for bedrooms and route inquiries to the appropriate departments.
* Act as a sales person, upselling hotel facilities and building rapport with clients.
* Communicate and liaise with all hotel departments in a timely manner.
* Resolve guest concerns within the Reservations Office to the satisfaction of all parties.
* Manage group bookings from booking stage to departure.
* Proactively sell bedrooms at the best rate, maximizing upsell opportunities such as upgrades, dinner, and activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Comprehensive knowledge of performance standards and delivery within the Rooms Management department.
* Ability to assist and lead the department while the Revenue Manager is on annual leave.
* Proficiency in training new team members on departmental SOPs.
* Strong advisory, feedback, and support skills for new hires.
* Knowledge of Hotsoft system an advantage.
