This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and creative environment, working across our Beauty categories that include established global brands and emerging innovators.As a Beauty Buying Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the Buying team with data management, supplier coordination, and product administration, while gaining valuable insight into the full buying process from concept to customer. This role is ideal for someone passionate about beauty, fashion, and retail, eager to develop their skills in one of Ireland's most dynamic retail environments.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Beauty Buying team in managing product data capture and purchase order entry.Maintain accurate product and pricing information, including cost, selling price, and currency updates.Assist with continuity orders and replenishment processes to achieve stock and sales objectives.Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to ensure smooth flow of stock from vendor to warehouse and store.Support the Buyer and Assistant Buyer with reporting, trend tracking, and administrative tasks.Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders including Retail Operations, Merchandising, Finance, and Marketing.Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and range updates for internal meetings.Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing insights to the team.Contribute to promotional planning and product setup for seasonal campaigns.Support ad hoc buying and merchandising projects as needed.KNOW WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORStrong interest in beauty, fashion, and retail with a desire to build a career in Buying or Merchandising.Proficient in Microsoft Excel with excellent attention to detail and numerical ability.Organised and disciplined, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Energetic, proactive, and eager to learn from a dynamic and experienced team.Strong communication skills and confidence in liaising with suppliers and internal teams.Analytical and curious, comfortable working with data to identify trends and insights.Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a solutions-focused mindset.Team-oriented and collaborative, contributing positively to team goals.Adaptable and flexible in response to changing business needs.Acts with professionalism, integrity, and alignment to Brown Thomas Arnotts' Vision, Purpose, and Values.KNOW WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUWe believe that every team member should have the opportunity to curate a meaningful career that enhances professional and personal development.
