Key responsibilities
This role is within the Motor Division, involving desktop administration, investigation, and negotiation of motor claims, as well as handling complaints on behalf of a key motor client.
Specific responsibilities
* Manage proactively a portfolio of 150+ bodily injury and third-party motor damage files, meeting closure and quality targets.
* Previous complaint handling experience and familiarity with CPC requirements are advantageous.
* Conduct liability investigations and determinations.
* Investigate and settle claims expediently and compliantly.
* Manage relationships with suppliers/vendors.
* Provide excellent customer service to clients.
* Work collaboratively with team members, liaising with clients and other departments.
* Represent the business professionally and positively.
* Maintain a positive attitude amidst challenges and changing needs.
* Be flexible with time and willing to travel to other locations as needed.
Qualifications and skills
* CIP qualification in insurance.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience handling bodily injury and third-party motor damage claims.
* Understanding of PIAB and litigation processes.
* Strong decision-making and numeric skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience in dynamic environments.
* Motivated, proactive, with influential skills.
* Problem-solving abilities.
* Client-oriented with a willingness to understand client needs.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
