About the Role
As Tax Manager, you'll oversee the delivery of tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio.
You'll act as a trusted advisor, supporting the firm's growth and maintaining strong client relationships while working closely with the practice owner.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering excellent career progression and exposure to both domestic and international clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and review corporation tax, income tax, VAT, and payroll tax filings
Provide tax planning advice to SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and individuals, as well as foreign clients with Irish interests
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for tax queries
Stay up to date with Irish Revenue guidance, Finance Acts, and international tax developments
Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring quality control and ongoing training
Contribute to business development initiatives, including cross-selling services
Ensure compliance with professional standards and manage risk in tax engagements
About You
Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA) and tax advisor (CTA)
Minimum 5 years' experience in tax practice, ideally within a small/medium firm
Strong technical knowledge of Irish tax legislation and Revenue systems
Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
Experience mentoring or supervising staff
Commercially aware, with an understanding of SME business needs
Proficient in tax software, accounting systems, and Microsoft Office
