Electrical Lead Technician Role Summary
A skilled Electrical Lead Technician is required to join our team in a high volume manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of utilities systems on site, ensuring efficient and safe working practices.
About the Job:
The Utilities Electrical Lead Technician will work as part of the utilities group, responsible for the operation and maintenance of utilities systems on site. This includes responding to operational issues, carrying out routine maintenance, and assisting site-based technicians with maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operation and maintenance of site black & clean utilities systems and associated electrical systems
* Assist site-based technicians with maintenance tasks as prescribed
* Assist site-based technicians with problem solving and fault finding
* Completion of all related documentation in compliance with site and regulatory rules and guidelines
* Delivery of delegated engineering tasks in compliance with good engineering practice and all regulatory, statutory and corporate requirements;
* Keep training current in line with client's requirements, i.e. SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), EWI's (Engineering Work Instructions), etc.
Requirements:
* Time served electrician - Essential
* Proven (3+ years) experience in high volume manufacturing facility
* Working knowledge of automation and control systems
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Strong problem solving and fault-finding skills
* Good interpersonal skills and a self-starter
* Motor Controls AC/DC drives Medium Voltage and Low Voltage diagnostic, maintenance experience essential
* Must be highly computer literate Word, Excel
* Previous experience working with Computer Maintenance management systems SCADA system experience Building Management systems Development and review of schematic drawings and single line diagrams
