As CNC programmer the goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process. You are required to plan resources, manage timelines, organise and oversee the manufacturing on the CNC machine. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of your production line and the quality of output. We expect you to have deep know‑how in Biesse KFT rover using B‑Solid. Planning, timely & quality decision‑making, problem‑solving are key attributes for this role. Must be used to working to deadlines.
Responsibilities
Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks.
Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading drawings.
Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts or one‑off.
Supervise the machines while they execute tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
Be responsible for achieving machine optimisation KPI’s.
Ensure right first‑time components are delivered to both internal and external customers.
Maintain safe operations by adhering to all safety procedures.
Requirements
Program and operate a Biesse KFT rover using B‑Solid experience essential.
Experience in Cabinet Vision an advantage.
Experience in AutoCad.
Previous experience of the kitchen industry is essential.
High attention to detail.
Proven experience as CNC operator.
Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools.
Experience in one‑off/prototyping environment.
Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.
