The Role
We are currently hiring an accountant to join our expanding team. The job description covers the following responsibilities:
* Preparing and completing of accounts files for corporates and sole traders.
* Working with our expansive clients across different sectors
* Reporting directly to partners and managers on client related matters
* Training and supervising of staff – you will have assigned direct reports
* Developing client relationships and meeting clients on site when required
* Working within budgets
* Monthly management accounts
* Income tax and corporation tax computations and submissions
* Completing CRO returns
* Ad Hoc, once off projects such as, companies restructuring assistance, due diligence reports, and financial analysis reports
What we're looking for:
* ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or close to qualification with relevant experience.
* 3– 5 years' experience working within a practice environment
* Strong understanding of Irish accounting standards
* Excellent relationship management and communication skills
* Previous experience managing people an advantage
* Confident with accounting software (e.g, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Brightbooks)
