Guests can always expect a warm welcome and impeccable service as they step into this beloved dining destination.Title:General Manager – Restaurant OperationsType:Full-TimeReports To:COO / CEOAbout the RoleWe're looking for a strategic, systems-driven General Manager to oversee the full operational,financial, and cultural health of our restaurant.This is a leadership role focused on structure, strategy, people development, financial performance, and long-term success.You will create the systems that empower our Restaurant Managers to deliver exceptional serviceevery day.Key ResponsibilitiesPeople & Leadership• Oversee recruitment and onboarding• Develop training programs and talent pipelines• Manage HR compliance, performance reviews, and coaching for leaders• Lead the management team and drive culture initiativesOperational Systems & Compliance• Own all SOPs, policies, checklists, and operating playbooks• Manage vendor relationships, maintenance schedules, and inventory systems• Lead food safety program compliance and audits• Oversee reservation system structure, POS backend, inventory platform, and scheduling toolsFinancial Leadership• Own the restaurant's full P&L• Forecast sales, labour, and COGS• Build and control budgets• Analyse financial performance and implement margin improvementsMenu, Beverage & Culinary Support• Collaborate with Chef and bar leadership on menu strategy and engineering• Conduct PMIX analyses, pricing decisions, and menu design• Coordinate tastings and R&D sessions• Lead the logistics of rolling out new menus or specialsMarketing, Brand & Community• Manage marketing calendars, events, promotions, and collaborations• Maintain brand standards across all guest touchpoints• Build community partnerships• Monitor and respond to guest feedback trendsWhat We're Looking For• 3–5+ years as a GM or senior operations manager• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills• Ability to build systems and manage complex operations• Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and P&L• A leadership style rooted in coaching, accountability, and empowermentWhat We Offer• Competitive salary + performance-based bonus• A leadership role with real influence and autonomy• Supportive ownership/leadership team• Opportunity to shape the long-term direction of the business
