We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities, providing them with the support and care they need to live their lives to the fullest potential.
This role involves working in a residential setting, where you will be responsible for supporting service users with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores. You will also be required to engage in activities and provide emotional support to the service users.
In addition to your experience and qualifications, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with the service users, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
* A degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or relevant qualification;
* Experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities;
* The ability to work on his/her own initiative and supervise service users/staff in a residential setting;
* Good organisation and communications skills;
* A full manual driving license.
