This is a hands-on role in a dynamic environment that offers exposure to all aspects of finance, with opportunities to shape processes as the company grows.What You'll DoFinancial Accounting & ReportingAssist with preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, and prepaymentsMaintain general ledger accuracy and ensure timely month-end closePrepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variancesSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activitiesStatutory Compliance & AuditAssist with annual statutory financial statementsSupport external auditors and coordinate audit deliverablesEnsure compliance with Irish / UK tax obligations (VAT, payroll taxes, etc.), working with external advisors when neededFinancial OperationsOversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processesProcess supplier invoices, staff expenses, and credit card reconciliationsSupport payroll preparation and reviewAssist with treasury, cashflow forecasting, and banking administrationProcess Improvement & ControlsHelp design and implement scalable finance processes and internal controlsContribute to documentation of policies and proceduresParticipate in finance system upgrades/automation projectsWhat We're Looking ForQualifications & ExperienceQualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, AITI or equivalent)2–4+ years' experience in accounting, audit, or similar roleExperience in fintech, startup, or a regulated environment is a plus but not requiredGood technical accounting knowledgeSkills & AttributesExcellent attention to detail and strong organisational skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentStrong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionallyProactive, curious, and eager to improve processesComfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasksOur ValuesHave Integrity.
