Business Development Manager – West RegionExcel Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Business Development Manager on behalf of our retail client.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading business during an exciting period of growth, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing a successful sales strategy for their retail dealer network.
In this role, you will support and develop existing retail partners while actively seeking new business opportunities across the West Region of Ireland.
Salary: €60k – €70k
Responsibilities: Drive sales growth across the region by identifying and maximising new business opportunities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing dealer and licensee customers to achieve volume and margin targets
Regularly review sales performance, address variances, and implement corrective actions where required
Identify and evaluate new dealer and license opportunities within your territory
Maintain up-to-date market intelligence to stay ahead of trends and competitor activity
Actively engage with marketing campaigns and initiatives
Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with brand and operational standards
Collaborate closely with credit control to ensure effective account management
Work to agreed cost, margin, and efficiency targets, ensuring accurate completion of all necessary documentation Requirements: Proven track record in sales with a strong focus on achieving KPIs
Key account management experience within retail, FMCG, or related industries
Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to deliver strategic sales plans
Confident in engaging with multiple stakeholders and influencing decision-making
Comfortable using CRM systems
Experience in business development, networking, and market growth strategies is highly desirable
Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
