Job Opportunity
This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supervising and managing programs of work for sewer survey and investigation projects. The ideal candidate will have prior expertise in designing or constructing wastewater upgrades and treatment works.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead site operations for wastewater upgrade projects, ensuring smooth execution and timely completion.
* Provide contract administration and project management services for civil engineering works, including wastewater projects, to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Produce clear and concise reports, as well as maintain accurate works records, to facilitate informed decision-making.
* Ensure strict adherence to health and safety procedures and regulations, fostering a safe working environment for all personnel.
* Apply knowledge of construction contracts, preferably FIDIC and Public Works forms, to navigate complex project requirements.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 10 years postgraduate experience in on-site supervision and contract administration.
* A degree in a related field, such as Civil Engineering, is essential.
* The successful candidate must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team at all times, promoting a culture of mutual respect and support.
* Flexibility regarding travel, as required by the project's demands.
