Social Care Leader
This role presents a unique opportunity to lead a team in delivering trauma-informed care to young people aged 13-17.
As part of this team, you will work towards building positive relationships with the young people, providing a therapeutic environment, and engaging them in their programme.
The Social Care Leader will be responsible for:
* Developing and implementing Care and Placement Plans.
* Promoting the rights and responsibilities of each child/young person.
* Ensuring physical, emotional, social, and religious welfare of each young person.
* Encouraging attendance at school, training centres, medical, and clinical appointments.
* Organising personal documents, arrangements, information, and finance on behalf of the young person.
* Liaising with parents, family, general services, and other agencies on behalf of the young person.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in a Children & Families Service or similar environment, and be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU, or hold a CORU-approved qualification and be eligible for registration.
