Storm Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Head of Aftersales on behalf of a highly successful automotive organisation based in Dublin.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced motor industry professional with a strong background leading high volume dealership aftersales operations, managing workshop performance, driving profitability and delivering exceptional customer experience.
The successful candidate will oversee the full service operation, ensuring exceptional customer experience, operational excellence, team performance and profitability across a busy and fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day to day aftersales operation including service, workshop and parts functions
Drive performance across workshop productivity, labour sales, customer retention and profitability
Manage and support Service Advisors, Workshop Controllers, Technicians and Aftersales teams
Monitor KPIs and operational performance, implementing improvements where required
Ensure exceptional customer experience standards is maintained across all touchpoints
Handle high level customer escalations and resolve issues professionally
Work closely with senior management to support overall dealership performance and growth
Oversee manufacturer standards, compliance requirements and operational audits
Manage staffing levels, performance management and team development
Drive efficiencies across scheduling, workshop loading and operational processes
Ensure all health & safety and manufacturer procedures are adhered to
Requirements
Proven experience within a senior aftersales leadership role within the motor industry
Strong dealership background with experience managing busy workshop environmentsCommercially focused with strong understanding of aftersales profitability and KPIs
Experience leading and developing large teams within fast paced operations
Excellent leadership, communication and customer management skills
Strong understanding of manufacturer standards and dealership operations
Ability to drive performance while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels
Professional, driven and hands on management style
Full clean driving licence required
