Job Title: Assistant Night Manager Location: The Address Connolly Job Overview As an Assistant Night Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing hotel operations during the night shift.Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.You will ensure the safety and security of guests and staff, manage guest inquiries and concerns, and oversee the smooth running of the hotel overnight.This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle issues and emergencies effectively.Key Responsibilities Complete nightly Duty Management shifts for the hotel Ensure all Health & Safety duties and requests are adhered to during the shift Greet and assist guests arriving during the night shift Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction and service standards Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff at all times Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures Oversee all hotel operations during the night shift, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Maintenance Ensure smooth guest check-in and check-out processes Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance or cleanliness issues Schedule and allocate tasks to night staff to ensure effective coverage and efficiency Complete all nightly reports and required paperwork accurately Ensure nightly cleaning of the hotel is carried out to standard Monitor and manage inventory levels of supplies, including toiletries and cleaning materials Communicate effectively with daytime management regarding any issues or updates from the night shift Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and bank holidays Knowledge of hotel operations, safety procedures, and emergency protocols Familiarity with the Hot Soft system is an advantage To be considered for this role you will be redirected to and must complete the application process on our careers page.
