We are now looking for a motivated
Intermediate Mechanical Engineer
to join our expanding engineering team.

The Role
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will contribute actively to project delivery, technical coordination, and client liaison.
You'll take ownership of key packages and have the opportunity to grow your technical, project management, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Attend project handover and design meetings, assisting in the development of pre-construction documentation and planning.
Collaborate in design reviews, identifying value engineering opportunities and supporting design optimisation.
Monitor project programmes and timelines in coordination with other team members and project managers.
Coordinate plant and equipment submittals, working closely with procurement and technical teams.
Support mechanical coordination drawings, ensuring integration with other disciplines on-site.
Maintain and manage project documentation including RFIs, technical submissions, QA records, and testing/reports.
Track and support project variations, reporting changes to the senior project team.
Develop Operation & Maintenance (O&M) documentation for project handover.
Contribute to the commissioning plan and manage specialist subcontractor input and certification.
Ensure all work is delivered in compliance with QDG's internal standards and relevant ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 45001).
Support junior members of the team and liaise with senior management for project delivery milestones.
What You Bring
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
3-5 years of experience in a mechanical contracting or consulting role.
Solid understanding of MEP systems, technical specifications, and site processes.
Experience working on medium-to-large scale construction or building services projects.
Familiarity with BMS, sustainable systems, or energy-efficient design is a plus.
Skills & Attributes
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with good document control and reporting habits.
Proficient in MS Office, and experience with AutoCAD, and relevant design coordination tools.
