We are currently seeking an experienced
Lead Technical Program Manager
to join a high-performing payments technology environment, supporting complex, client-facing initiatives within global payment and fraud solutions.
This is a senior, hands-on delivery role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced, regulated environments and enjoys working across multiple stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
The Role:
As a Lead Technical Program Manager, you will take ownership of critical client implementations and strategic initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
You will be responsible for leading complex programs that span technology development, operational change, and cross-functional delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading individual components of complex, client-facing implementations
* Gathering, documenting, and communicating business and technical requirements
* Developing and managing detailed project plans, governance, and delivery frameworks
* Ensuring solutions meet customer and business requirements
* Managing project budgets, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
* Overseeing third-party vendors and external partners
* Managing change requests and controlling scope
* Providing clear, structured reporting to internal and external stakeholders
What We're Looking For
Essential requirements:
* Minimum
5+ years' experience
in Project or Program Management
* Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams
* Proven experience managing
risk, issues, and delivery plans
* Experience working in
payments, fintech, or regulated financial services
* Solid understanding of the
software development lifecycle
* Experience managing
third-party providers
* Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
Desirable:
* Knowledge of
payment gateway platforms
* Technical background or strong applied technical understanding
* Previous consulting experience
