Job Title: Safety Operations Manager
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and delivering a best-in-class safety culture across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company with strong growth plans and a focus on quality, compliance, and performance.
The position involves leading all EHS activities across head office and project sites, managing and maintaining the organization's Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring full compliance with EHS legislation and ISO standards, identifying and managing High-Risk Activities (HRAs) across multiple locations, developing and delivering RAMS, SOPs, toolbox talks and safety alerts, conducting incident investigations and managing corrective actions, mentoring junior team members and promoting a proactive safety culture, and maintaining documentation and reporting through Share Point.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead all EHS activities across head office and project sites
2. Manage and maintain the organization's Integrated Management System (IMS)
3. Ensure full compliance with EHS legislation and ISO standards
4. Identify and manage High-Risk Activities (HRAs) across multiple locations
5. Develop and deliver RAMS, SOPs, toolbox talks and safety alerts
6. Conduct incident investigations and manage corrective actions
7. Mentor junior team members and promote a proactive safety culture
8. Maintain documentation and reporting through Share Point
Requirements:
1. Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent)
2. 35 years of relevant experience in construction, engineering or industrial EHS roles
3. Strong communication skills and ability to engage with all stakeholders
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Share Point
5. Willingness to travel to project sites as required
6. People-first mindset and coaching approach to team management
