About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and collaborative Manager to lead the Maintenance Planning & Scheduling team. This role is pivotal in driving cross-functional alignment, team performance, and maintenance efficiency across the site. You will work closely with stakeholders from Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, Validation, Projects, Calibrations and Facilities to ensure that maintenance activities are planned and executed to the highest level of efficiency.This role emphasizes strategic planning, tactical planning, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement in team collaboration and performance.This is a Hybrid role with regular site presence required in Dun Laoghaire.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the central liaison between Maintenance, Operations, Craft groups and Supply chain, ensuring timely and professional service delivery across all Facilities and Engineering functions.Lead planning efforts for preventative, corrective, and general maintenance activities in alignment with production schedules.Facilitate weekly/monthly meetings with cross-functional teams to finalize priorities, optimize downtime windows, and align resources.Ensure compliance with key plant and corporate metrics in your teams' functional areas.Drive continuous improvement by gathering feedback from maintenance, operations, engineering, and production planners.Champion safety and quality in all planning activities.Promote a culture of learning and development within the team, identifying opportunities to upskill and enhance performance.What We're Looking ForProven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within a regulated environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of successful cross-functional collaboration.Capable of maintaining oversight over the full maintenance plan, identifying opportunities to accelerate and connecting people to realise those opportunities.Ability to plan in multiple timeframes and the agility to adjust the plans as they come close to execution.Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt plans based on changing operational needs.A proactive mindset focused on team performance, continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement.Familiarity with maintenance planning tools and systems (CMMS experience is a plus but not the core focus).Key CompetenciesExperience in maintenance planning within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environmentProven people management skillsProficiency in Maximo, Tableau, Symphony, and Microsoft packagesSkilled in scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance activitiesStrong data analysis and performance reporting capabilitiesFamiliarity with regulatory compliance and documentation standardsExcellent communication and cross-functional coordination skillsLevel 8 degree in engineering, science, or a related field (preferred)
