Camphill Communities of Ireland supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates Residential and Day Services across 15 locations, in which day-attendees and residents are supported to live an ordinary life, a life like any other.

Requirements
Hold a minimum of a QQI Level 5 Major Award on the QQI Framework – or equivalent qualification in Community/Health or Social Care.
Have 1 year experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
Experience of running programmes for adults with an intellectual disability/autism.
An understanding of the New Directions model of day support services, as developed by the HSE, and a willingness to promote this model within your role.
An ability to follow plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of the individuals supported.
Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
A full driver’s licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.
