About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior People Development Leader to lead our Human Resources function. This is a permanent opportunity where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our people strategy across our business.
The Senior People Development Leader will provide strategic and operational HR leadership with a strong focus on employee relations, engagement, retention, performance management, and policy development. The role involves regular travel to other locations to ensure consistency and support across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a strategic HR partner to the leadership team, contributing to business objectives through people-focused solutions.
* Oversee all HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance development.
* Provide expert advice and hands-on support on employee relations matters, ensuring timely and fair resolution.
* Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement and improve retention.
* Oversee and evolve the performance appraisal process, supporting managers to develop top talent.
* Develop and maintain compliant HR policies and procedures.
* Coach and support managers to build effective teams and address HR challenges confidently.
* Monitor and report on key HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making and strategy.
Requirements:
* 8+ years of HR experience, including senior or managerial roles within high-volume environments.
* Proven track record managing employee relations and operational issues.
* Demonstrated success in implementing staff retention strategies and performance development initiatives.
* In-depth knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Well-organised, proactive, and solutions-focused with strong decision-making skills.
* Flexibility to travel regularly to other locations.
* Relevant HR qualification (Level 8 or equivalent).
