Job Title:Junior Site Engineer Location: Foley St. Dublin Contract:Full-Time, Permanent Reports To: Project Manager/ Senior Site Engineer Renumeration: Excellent package/benefits/career progression available for the successful candidate Job Summary The Junior Site Engineer will play a key role in supporting the Senior Site Engineer and site management team in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their engineering career to gain hands-on experience and develop technical and project management skills. Key Activities Assist with accurate site setting out, including levels, measurements, and reference points for construction work. Monitor and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design drawings and specifications. Conduct inspections and maintain quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare daily site reports, maintain site records, and support documentation required for handovers. Promote and adhere to all health and safety guidelines on-site. Assist in managing site materials, deliveries, and resource allocation. Provide technical advice to site operatives and address site engineering queries. Support the Senior Site Engineer with project planning, technical solutions, and ensuring smooth project execution. Competencies Strong technical knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and design principles. Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal. Problem-solving ability to address technical issues efficiently. High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Ability to collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, site managers, and contractors. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines. Familiarity with AutoCAD, surveying software, and MS Office Suite. Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in a site engineering role (internship or work placement experience is highly desirable). Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications (preferred) Full driving license is essential.
