This is a key leadership role to support the Director of Nursing in leading clinical excellence, staff development, and patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor nursing teams to deliver safe, high-quality, compassionate care.
* Develop and implement policies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
* Foster a positive, professional workplace culture that supports learning and collaboration.
* Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, clinical governance, and risk management.
* Combine clinical expertise with strategic decision-making to enhance care and efficiency.
Requirements
* NMBI registration (General Division).
* EU passport or valid work visa.
* 7+ years post-registration, incl. 2+ in senior leadership (CNM2/CNM3 or equivalent).
* BSc in Nursing Management; MSc in Leadership/Healthcare Management desirable.
* In-depth knowledge of HIQA, patient safety, and governance.
