The Facilities and Utilities Supervisor will oversee the maintenance of site utilities systems and building fabric, ensuring high standards are maintained.
">
Duties Include:
">
">
1. Ongoing maintenance and repair of all utility systems across the site.
">
2. Ensure the overall building fabric is kept in-tact and that high standards are maintained through all areas.
">
3. Troubleshoot equipment-related process problems and equipment failures to determine root cause and initiate repair using lean tools and techniques.
">
4. Carry out trouble-shooting of electrical, instrument, and control, and mechanical problems.
">
5. Assist in the maintenance of plant utility equipment as requested.
">
6. Execute and update the existing preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.
">
7. E nsure comprehensive maintenance documentation exists for each site equipment and system and that it is filed in an organized manner.
">
8. Develop a critical spares list for all site utilities and ensure critical spares are in stock or readily available at all times.
">
9. Ensure all critical instruments are set up for routine calibrations on Compucal and that these calibrations are performed on or before the due date.
">
10. Assist liaise with contractors carrying out maintenance/certification work as required.
">
11. Implement site service contracts where applicable and ensure procurement is involved in the negotiation process.
">
12. Investigate EHS incidents, lead RCAs, and complete EHS actions as appropriate.
">
13. Support Process Engineering in preparing inputs into capital and expense budgets related to production requirements and improvements.
">
14. Provide input into and participate in site visits, audits, and ensure all actions and tasks are prioritized and closed out immediately.
">
15. Manage the facility database for work orders.
">
16. Perform tasks with due recognition of safety, environment, GMP, and plant procedures.
">

About You:
">
You must have a Mechanical/Electrical/Civil qualification to diploma level and understand various types of utilities systems.
">
A minimum of 5 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment within the Medical Device and/or Pharmaceutical Industry is required.
">
Preferable experience with CMMS SAP PM System and Calibration System. Previous experience in an ATEX environment is advantageous.
">
Strong analytical skills and effective communication skills are essential. Ability to work effectively within a team environment and willingness to learn and take responsibility are also required.
